Women's Soccer: Benjamin Earns PAC Weekly Honors

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Bethany College women's soccer player Jada Benjamin earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the Week honors for her performance in the Bison's opening week.

Benjamin totaled seven points in Bethany's 7-5 win at Hilbert Saturday. She finished with three goals and assisted on Monica Bird's goal in the 59th minute. With Bethany trailing 4-2 at the half, Benjamin fired in a pair of second half scores. She scored an unassisted goal in the 63rd minute before converting on a Morgan Keelan assist in the 87th minute.

The weekly laurel is her first.

The Bison return to the pitch on Wednesday, Sept. 7 when they travel to Cresson, Pa. to face the Mount Aloysius Mounties in a non-conference contest at 4 p.m.
