Softball Concludes Opening Weekend in Virginia

Virginia Beach, Va. - The Bethany College softball team continued road play in Virginia Beach to close out the Virginia Wesleyan Classic. Bethany faced Greensboro College early Sunday morning. The Bison fell 4-0 to the Pride. Tyra Bell and Katie Fuchs had one hit each for the Bison.

Bethany falls 4-0 to Greensboro

Greensboro plated one run in the first inning and held onto the lead for the game. The Pride added three more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Bison were held scoreless with two hits. Erica Amoroso, Tyra Bell and Gabriella Capaldi each reached base safely off of walks. Both Tyra Bell and Katie Fuchs each had one hit for the Bison.
