Prior to the season being interrupted, how was the year going - what was the team's expectations and goals?

The year was going great. We were finally coming together as a team. A lot of hard work and dedication was put into the season. We were taking it game by game but I knew PAC championship was in the back of everyone's minds. We had everything needed to reach the top. Each day we got better and better and it's a shame we got cut short. I hope next season the team finishes what was started.

What are your personal career goals? Jobs, internships, interests moving forward?

I want to coach and get a good job either in the military or FBI.

Do you have any advice for your younger teammates or recruits that are looking at coming to Bethany?

Nothing like "play like it's your last game" being a reality. Take what we all went through and apply it to life. Anything can be taken at any moment. Our worlds were turned upside down in the blink of an eye. If something doesn't go as planned don't dwell on it figure out what to do next. Take every opportunity and go after it. You can try something and say you don't like it. But don't let something go by without taking a bite. Life stops for no one and softball can teach you a lot if you let it.

What has it meant to you being a Bison?

Being a bison means everything to me. There's plenty of schools to be a part of but I chose Bethany, really Bethany chose me. Bethany is a special place, a one of a kind. I'm proud to be a Bison and will always be. It was an honor to be able to play on the softball field.

Who has supported you during your time as a student-athlete?

My entire family, mom and dad, my teammates, professors, coaches, teammate's families. I couldn't thank them enough for pushing me and cheering me on.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused the 2020 spring sports to be cancelled. Bethany College wants to thank all of our seniors for representing the Bison in a positive manner and for all their hard work and dedication over their careers at Bethany.
