Prior to the season being interrupted, how was the year going - what was the team's expectations and goals?
I think just coming together as a team and finding how we play with each other as a team was a really big goal for us. Each year is different and you have to bond on and off the field to have a good team chemistry. Of course winning games is our main goal, but just going out on the field and giving it everything we got, win or lose is good for me.
What are your personal career goals? Jobs, internships, interests moving forward?
I actually have an internship with NBA XPLOR, a program run by the disciples of Christ church and I also had a lineup with a job in Maryland as a children's therapeutic mentor, but i decided to immediately go back to school to get my masters in hope to play my extra year of eligibility, then become a graduate assistant. I have applied to 3 schools in the Pittsburgh Area.
Do you have any advice for your younger teammates or recruits that are looking at coming to Bethany?
Younger players: good luck and don't let people tear you down because they will try over and over again. Be yourself and don't let anyone try to change you. I wish I could have finished my last year with you guys.
What has it meant to you being a Bison?
Being a bison was fun while it lasted
Who has supported you during your time as a student-athlete?
Jan Forsty, my softball alumni, Amanda Boyle, Erin Chapman, my mother, my father, my friends, the Hulls, my friends, my ZTA sisters
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused the 2020 spring sports to be cancelled. Bethany College wants to thank all of our seniors for representing the Bison in a positive manner and for all their hard work and dedication over their careers at Bethany.
