Bethany College announces Zayne Brakeall as Assistant Athletic Trainer
BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College Director of Athletics Brian Sansom is announcing the hiring of Zayne Brakeall as an assistant athletic trainer, on Tuesday, (Aug. 15).
"We are excited that Zayne has joined our athletics staff," says Sansom. "Zayne brings a strong work ethic and knowledge that will undoubtedly enhance our athletic training operation. Their experience working and competing in college athletics will greatly benefit student-athletes for years to come."
Brakeall comes to Bethany after spending time as an athletic trainer and athletic training student at neighboring West Liberty University since 2018. Brakeall earned a B.S. in athletic training and is on track to earn a master's of education in sports leadership and coaching from West Liberty University.
"I am extremely excited to join the athletic training staff here at Bethany," says Brakeall. "I want to thank Head Athletic Trainer Kacey Morrison and Athletic Director Brian Sansom for giving me this opportunity to grow and learn under such strong direction and leadership. Brakeall will work alongside Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer Kacey Morrison.
