Bethany places 52 on Presidents' Athletic Conference Honor Roll
TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bethany College featured 52 student-athletes on the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Fall 2023 Academic Honor Roll announced by the league office Friday afternoon.
Leading the way for the Bison with 14 student-athletes was women's soccer and women's volleyball, followed by football with 11, men's soccer with 8, and cross-country with five.
851 student-athletes were named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2023 semester.
The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition.
Leading the 11 full-time league schools was Grove City College with 104 student-athletes earning PAC Fall 2023 Academic Honor Roll accolades, which is a new record by one school on the Fall Honor Roll. Second on the list was Westminster College with 79, followed by Geneva College with 69, while Allegheny College had 67 on the honor roll. Washington & Jefferson College and Waynesburg University were next with 65 and was followed by Saint Vincent College (63), Thiel College (60), Franciscan University (57), Bethany College (52) and Chatham University (46).
The PAC's two football affiliate members, Carnegie Mellon University and Case Western Reserve University, totaled 60 and 64, respectively.
