White Jr. Earns PAC Rookie of the Week Honors

Greenville, Pa (Feb. 11) – Bethany College men's basketball player Derek White Jr. (Portsmouth, VA / Nansemond-Suffolk Academy) was announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the week for his performance last week.

White Jr. totaled 18 points, three rebounds, and a pair of steals in Wednesday's 68-63 upset victory over St. Vincent. He averaged averaged 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game last week for the Bison. White Jr. shot 52.9 percent (9-of-17) from the floor during Bethany's 1-1 week.

The weekly laurel is the first for White Jr.
