McClinton Earns PAC Track AOW

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Caliyph McClinton has been named the Presidents Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week after his clock shattering times posted on Sunday.

McClinton was the clear standout Bison on Bethany's home track. The Bison ran a 10.49 100m dash, eclipsing all PAC competition. McClinton earned his second national ranking, claiming the 14th spot in Division III. He is currently first in the conference and second in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the 100m.

McClinton stayed nationally ranked in the 200m at 20th. He decreased his time to a 21.47- a time that remains to be the fastest in the conference and top three in the region. Both times are records that McClinton already held.

He joins teammate Alexis Mahaffey on the Presidents Athletic Conference awards list this week. It has been the first time in indoor or outdoor that the pair have graced the awards list simultaneously.

Head Coach Jordan Johnson made it clear that both of his athletes are absolute class.

"Caliyph and Alexis exemplify professionalism in every aspect of their performance. As we navigate this lengthy season, they have demonstrated a profound understanding of the journey towards becoming exceptional athletes. This team is truly remarkable, and we consistently allow our results to reflect our hard work and dedication."

The Bison will compete at the Otterbein Twilight Invite this Friday. Both the men's and women's teams will travel and compete.
