Bison Finish Up Three-Day Invite

CANTON, Oh – Bethany wrapped up their final day in Canton at the Malone Invite. The Bison joined a field consisting of 16 different squads. The women finished in 14th place with 118 total points. The men competed as individuals.

The Bison had a tough day in the water, not being able to improve on their score from yesterday. Here are some of the top times:

Aeriale Knopsnider was the closest to qualify for a finals out of any swimmer in day three. She swam a 2:26.88, placing her on the qualifying bubble.

Maya Metz finished her 100 Yard Backstroke in 1:25.95, a time that narrowly missed qualifications for finals.

Paco Ramirez came only a second shy of qualifying for the 100 yard backstroke, swimming a 1:01.31. His attempt in the 200 yard backstroke was even closer, bubbling the qualifying time with a 2:15.11, serving as the injury alternate for another swimmer.

Bethany's next event will be a Presidents Athletic Conference Tri-Meet with Grove City and Franciscan. They'll jump into the water Wednesday, December 7th at 1 p.m.
