Lehnert receives rookie laurels from PAC
Oct. 17 – GREENVILLE, Pa. – Bethany College freshman Kathrin Lehnert (Crailsheim, Germany/Line-Meitner Gymnasium) was tabbed the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week announced the league office Monday afternoon.
Lehnert ran the third-best time of all freshmen participants at the Oberlin (Ohio) Inter-Regional Rumble Saturday, finishing 18th out of 255 participants on the six-kilometer circuit with a time of 22 minutes, 34.1 seconds.
The PAC Rookie of the Week nod is the second this season for Lehnert. She previously won the award on September 12 after finishing in ninth place at the six-kilometer Bethany Invitational with a time of 24 minutes, 33 seconds.
Lehnert and the rest of the Bethany cross country teams have the next week off to prepare for the PAC Championships on Saturday, October 29 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
