Women’s Cross Country participates in NCAA Regionals

Nov. 12 - CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Bethany women's cross country team participated in the NCAA Division III Regionals at DeSales University on Saturday.

Kathrin Lehnert (Crailsheim, Germany / Lise-Meitner Gymnasium) led the Bison, running the six-kilometer course in 23 minutes and 38 second to finish 63rd overall.

Ashley Worst (Apollo, Pa./Apollo-Ridge) crossed the finish-line at 232nd with a career-best time of 26 minutes and 25 seconds. Gabrielle Goudy (Powhatan Point, Ohio/River) and Shelva Burns (Weirton, W.Va./Weirton) finished 319th and 320th, respectively while Alexis Naples (Youngstown, Ohio/South Range) crossed 327th.

Overall, the Bison placed 44th out of 51 teams.
