Women's Basketball: Garrison Earns PAC Rookie of the Week

Greensville, Pa. – Bethany College freshman guard Lindsey Garrison was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the Week for her performance last week.

Garrison averaged 20.0 points and 31.5 minutes per game last week for 2-0 Bethany. In Tuesday's 82-21 win at Penn State New Kensington, she scored 29 points, going 10-of-25 from the floor and 9-of-19 from three-point range. Her nine made three-pointers established a new program single-game record. Garrison shot 43.5 percent (10-23) from three-point range last week.

The Triadelphia native currently ranks third in the NCAA for three-point field goals per game with 4.75 and sits sixth in the NCAA for three-point field goals made with 19. Her 21.0 points per game ranks 27th in the NCAA for scoring and her 50.0 percent from behind the arc is good for 26th.

She currently leads the PAC in field-goals made (31), points per game, three-point field goals per-game and three-point field-goal percentage.

This is Garrison's second weekly laurel. Garrison was named PAC Player of the Week last week (Nov. 15). 

The Bison return to action on Wednesday, December 1 in Steubenville, Ohio to open PAC play against the Franciscan Barons. Tip-off is set for 6 pm.
