Women's Basketball: Garrison Earns PAC Rookie of the Week

Greenville, Pa. – Freshman guard Lindsey Garrison was named PAC Rookie of the Week after her performance last week for the Bison.

Garrison averaged 26.3 points and 1.7 steals per game last week for the Bison. She shot 50.0 percent (21-42) from the floor and 50.0 percent (14-28) from three-point range. Garrison went 23-of-27 (85.2%) from the free throw line.

In Monday's 68-54 victory over Saint Vincent she scored 29 points and led the way with a game-high 28 points in Wednesday's 64-59 victory over W&J. On Saturday, Garrison scored 20 points in 78-74 setback at Grove City.

Thus far this season she has scored 20 or more points six times this season. Garrison's 3.56 made three-pointers per game rank seventh in Division III. Her 19.5 points per game scoring average leads the PAC and ranks 25th in Division III.

This is Garrison's fourth weekly laurel this season after being tabbed PAC Player of the Week in November and earning PAC Rookie of the Week three times.

The Bison return to the court on Monday, January 31 when they host Chatham in a PAC match up at 5:30 pm.
