Greenville, Pa. – Freshman guard Lindsey Garrison was named PAC Rookie of the Week after her performance last week for the Bison.

Garrison averaged 30.0 points per game last week for 1-1 Bethany. She had 21 points in Tuesday's 80-75 loss at Geneva before firing in a career-high 39 points in a 72-51 win over visiting Waynesburg Thursday. Garrison shot 57.1 percent (12-21) from the floor and 50.0 percent (7-14) from three-point range against the Yellow Jackets.

Her 39 points are the most by a PAC player and tied for ninth-most by a NCAA Division III player this season. Garrison's 39 points are the most by a PAC player since Feb. 15, 2020, when Saint Vincent's Madison Kollar had 41 points in a win at Waynesburg.

For the week Garrison shot 44.2 percent (19-43) from the floor, 42.3 percent (11-26) from three-point range and 91.7 percent (11-12) from the free throw line. She is third in the league with a 17.9 points per game scoring average and leads the PAC with 43 made three-pointers.

Garrison was previously named PAC Player of the Week the week of November 15,  and Rookie of the Week in November.

The Bison return to the court on Monday, January 24 when they host Saint Vincent in a PAC match up at 5:30 pm.
