PAC tabs Murray Track Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 5) - Bethany College men's track & field senior Marshall Murray (Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Track Athlete of the Week announced the league office Monday afternoon.

Murray won the 500 meters Saturday at Mount Union's Jim Wuske Invitational with an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)-qualifying time of one minute, 7.60 seconds. He also ran the third leg of Bethany's second-place distance medley relay (11:21.57). 

Murray has also established an ECAC Indoor qualifying time in the 800-meter run last week at the SPIRE Institue Midwest Invitational with a time of one minute, 57.78.

Murray and the rest of the Bison track & field teams will return to competition on Friday, February 9 when they travel to Berea, Ohio for the Baldwin Wallace Mid-February Meet.
