Sallah-Mohammed tabbed ECAC, PAC Field Athlete of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. (April 4) - After established the top-distance in the triple jump in NCAA Division III and establishing a new school-record, sophomore Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va./Fishburne Military) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Field Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday.
Sallah-Mohammad was also tabbed the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Field Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Sallah-Mohammed set the school, meet and stadium record with his mark of 14.68 meters (48 feet, two inches). The distance ranks as the top-mark in all of NCAA Division III this outdoor season. Sallah-Mohammed also finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.83 meters in the event.
He garners his sixth field athlete of the week honor this year and second-straight during outdoor season.
Sallah-Mohammed and the rest of the Bison men's and women's track & field teams will travel to Alliance, Ohio to compete at the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday, April 7.
