Swimming and Diving competes at Fairmont State

WHEELING, W.Va. - Jan. 13 - The Bethany swimming team competed against Fairmont State University  and Wheeling Jesuit University on Friday night at Fairmont's campus.

For the men, Cheyne Stresky (Oxford, Mich./Oxford) finished first in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:20. He also placed second in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of :54.84.

For the women, Alaina Geer (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) finished third in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:09.72. Christine Pray (Canton, Mich./Canton) placed third in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a time of 5:49.57.

The Bison are back in the pool on Saturday, Jan. 21 when they travel to Altoona, Pa. to face Penn State-Altoona and Frostburg State University. The meet is set to start at 2:00p.m.
