Blango Earns PAC Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Greenville, Pa – Senior football defensive lineman, Chas Blango (Pittsburgh, Pa | Mount Lebanon) was announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Defensive Player of the week for his performance last week.

Blango had an outstanding defensive performance in the 23-19 win over Carnegie Mellon Saturday afternoon. He finished with six tackles (3 solo) while notching a career-high 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. The senior also forced two fumbles, one recovery, and a second quarter interception.

The Bethany College Football team returns to the turf after the bye week on November 2, when the Bison travel to Case Western Reserve for a PAC tilt. Kickoff is set for 2 pm.
