Vickers Named to D3football.com Team of the Week
Bethany, W.Va – Bethany College freshman Dadrick Vickers (Miami Gardens, Fla. | Miami Norland) was recognized nationally on the D3fooball.com Team of the Week following his defensive play Saturday in the Bison 37-7 victory over Thiel.
Vickers intercepted three passes Saturday in Bethany's 37-7 win over Thiel. The freshman defensive back leads the PAC this season with six interceptions. Vickers is the first Bethany player with three interceptions in a game since Daulton Freeman in a 23-13 win at Ursinus on Sept. 3, 2016. Vickers has had two multi-interception games this season. His first coming against Ursinus in week one.
Bethany College football returns to action this Saturday when they travel north to Latrobe, Pa for a PAC contest against the Saint Vincent Bearcats. Kickoff is set for 1 pm.
