Blango Named to D3football.com Team of the Week
Bethany, W.Va- Bethany College senior Chas Blango (Pittsburgh, Pa | Mount Lebanon) was recognized nationally on the D3football.com Team of the Week following his defensive play Saturday in the Bison 23-19 win over Carnegie Mellon.
Blango had an outstanding defensive performance leading the Bison past Carnegie Mellon. He finished with six tackles (3 solo) while notching a career-high 4.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. The senior also forced two fumbles, one recovery, and a second quarter interception.
The Bethany College Football team returns to the turf after the bye week on November 2, when the Bison travel to Case Western Reserve for a PAC tilt. Kickoff is set for 2 pm.
