Bruni and Pintus Named to All-PAC Team

NEW WILMINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA– The Presidents Athletic Conference All-PAC selections have been announced. The Bethany Bison had two players make the team. Santiago Bruni earned a spot as a defender on the All-PAC Second Team. Matteo Pintus earned an honorable mention between the posts.

Bruni started 15 games, bringing his career total to 62 starts. A centerpiece for the Bison, Bruni wore the captain's band with pride while directing his defense. On top of his duties as a defender, Bruni had a save and a goal in 2024. His goal was monumental, coming within the final five minutes against Saint Vincent. Bruni served a header into the net, which led to a 1-1 draw against the Bearcats.

Pintus was the primary starter for the Bison in the net. He started 13 of the 14 games played, finishing the season with 1113:03 minutes. During that time in the net, Pintus posted a .763 save percentage with 87 saves. The Italian notched a shutout against the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, who were undefeated with nine wins going into the matchup.

This is Bruni's second All-PAC Second Team nod. Pintus was on the All-Academic Honor Roll every year since freshman year, but this was his first All-PAC mention.
