Bison defeated at Washington & Jefferson

WASHINGTON, Pa. (Dec. 6) The Bison swimming and diving teams were defeated in a duel meet at Washington & Jefferson Wednesday evening. The men fell 77-57, while the women were knocked off by a score of 86-58.
Junior Chayne Stresky (Oxford, Mich./Oxford) led the Bison men with victories in the 50- and 500-yard freestyles. He swam a five-minute, 7.93 second 500-yard freestyle and touched the wall in 22.72 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle.
Freshman Sarafina Wilson was the top performer for the women, winning both the 50- and 100-yard freestyles. She finished with a time of 27.78 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle and hit the final wall of the 100-yard freestyle in one minute, 1.07 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle.
The Bison are back in the pool this Saturday, December 9 when they make the quick trip to Steubenville, Ohio to face Franciscan at 1 p.m.
