GREENVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 26) -  After becoming the first Bethany swimmer to win a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship since 2003, junior Cheyne Stresky (Oxford, Mich./Oxford) was tabbed a first team all-conference selection.

Streksy won the 200-yard backstroke after hitting the the wall in one minute, 51.13 seconds to establish a new school-record. Stresky became the first Bethany swimmer to win a PAC Championship since 2003, when former Bison Kenko Nagai won the 100-yard breaststroke. Stresky was the first swimming & diving athlete overall to win a league championship since 2004 when former Bison Joe Kennedy won both the 1- and 3-meter dives at the annual league championship event.

Stresky also took second place in the 100-yard backstroke on Friday night with a time of 50.80 seconds, breaking his own school record in the process. He was also sixth in the 500-yard freestyle and was a member of a quartet of relay teams at the PAC Championships.

Stresky is now a three-time all-conference selection. He earned Second Team All-PAC status in each of the past two seasons.

The all-conference swimming and diving teams are determined by a formula-based selection process using student-athletes' individual and relay finishes at the conference's annual championships.
