Bison defeated at Otterbein

WESTERVILLE, Ohio (Feb. 24) - The Bethany College men's tennis team was defeated 9-0 by Otterbein in a non-conference tilt inside the Clements Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bethany's top-doubles team of senior Chris Ray (Henrico, Va./Mills E. Godwin) and junior Drake Berlin (Washington Court House, Ohio/Washington) almost came up with a victory, but were narrowly defeated 9-7 at No. 1 doubles.
- The Bison were shorthanded and fell behind 3-0 heading into singles competition.
- Bethany dropped the first five singles positions and forfeited the No. 6 position in the loss.
- Ray battled at No. 1 singles, but was eventually dealt a 6-4, 6-2 defeat.
UP NEXT
- The Bison will continue with non-conference play on Tuesday, March 6 when they host Marietta.
- The match is set to begin at 4 p.m.
