WASHINGTON, Pa. (April 8) - The Bethany College men's tennis team was defeated 8-1 by Washington & Jefferson in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match Sunday afternoon.

THE MATCHUP

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Presidents opened the match with a 3-0 lead after winning all three doubles points.
  • Junior Drake Berlin (Washington Court House, Ohio/Washington) was victorius at No. 2 singles in straight sets over Luke Clahane 6-2, 6-2 to put Bethany on to the scoreboard.
  • The Bison were unable to grab any of the other singles meetings in the match and were dealt the loss.

UP NEXT

  • Bethany returns to action on Tuesday, April 10 when they host Waynesburg for a PAC match
  • The two teams will begin at 4 p.m.
