Bethany Falls in Inaugural Season Opener

Bethany, W. Va – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team opened up the inaugural season against West Virginia Wesleyan Sunday afternoon at Bison Stadium. The Bison fell to the Bobcats 20-2.

GAME OVERVIEW
The Bobcats jumped out to a quick lead to start the contest. Bethany trailed 9-0 before history was made at Bison Stadium. Cassidy Mailloux scored off of a free position shot for Bethany's first goal in program history as a varsity sport. The Bison trailed 12-1 at halftime.

Bethany kept battling and scored their second goal from an Ayana Crawford goal with 13:23 to go in the second half. The green and white held the Bobcats to 20 goals.
