Men's Lacrosse: Bison Fall 8-7, after Fourth Period Surge by Ravens
Bethany, W.Va. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team hosted Anderson University on Saturday, inside Bison Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Clay Yingling scored in the first forty seconds of the game to give the Bison a 1-0 lead.
- Joshua Allegra added a goal for the Bison with 11:14 to go in the first period.
- Anderson cut the lead in half with under nine to go.
- A Yingling goal with six seconds left game Bethany a 3-1 lead.
- In the second period, Aarin Burton tacked on another goal for Bethany, however Anderson scored three straight goals to knot the game at 4-4 heading into halftime.
- Bethany outscored Anderson in the third, taking a 6-5 lead into the final period of play.
- In the fourth, Anderson scored twenty seconds in to deadlock the game at 6-6.
- The Ravens scored two goals to take an 8-6 lead with 10:55 to go.
- Bethany's Burton scored on a man-up opportunity to bring the Bison within one, but the Bison would not complete the comeback.
BISON TOP PERFORMERS
- Aarin Burton led the Bison with three goals. He also dished an assist.
- Joshua Allegra had two goals and one assist.
- Clay Yingling added two goals and one assist.
- David Heldt caused four turnovers.
- Andrew Smith made 29 saves.
