Men's Lacrosse: Yingling Scores 100th Career Point; Bison Conclude Season with Win

Washington, Pa. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team earned a PAC victory to conclude the 2022 season against the Washington & Jefferson Presidents Saturday afternoon. Bethany's Clay Yingling earned his 100th career point in the victory.

Final Score: Bethany 12, W&J 11              

Records: Bethany (6-8, 1-6 PAC), W&J (5-9, 1-6 PAC)    

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Bethany and W&J went back and forth throughout the first half. The Bison led 4-3 after the first period and held a 7-6 lead at the half.
  • Washington & Jefferson took the lead after outscoring the Bison 5-2.
  • The W&J lead didn't last long with the Bison scoring three goals in the final period of play.
  • With 1:35 to go in the game, Tyler Britton scored on a man-up opportunity to give the Bison the win.
