HOLLAND, Mich. (March 14) - The Bison were dealt a 20-0 loss by Hope in a non-conference match Tuesday night.
The loss sends the Bethany College lacrosse team to 2-2 overall, while the Dutchman improve to 4-1 this season.
Hope scored nine goals in the first quarter and seven in the second to take a 16-0 lead into halftime. The Dutchmen were kept in check in the second half, tallying four goals in the third and fourth stanzas.
Senior goalkeeper Sean Rhodes (Indiana, Pa./Indiana) recorded 21 saves on 41 shots against.
The Bison return home on Thursday, March 16 when they host Carroll (Wisconsin) for a contest at 1 p.m.
