Men's Golf Tunes Up at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania – The Bethany Bison competed at another Presidents Athletic Conference hosted invitational. Grove City served as the destination for the men's team, who finished 15th out of 17 teams.

Jude Smith had the smoothest round for the Bison, ending the day shooting 78 on a 72 par course.

Sam Phillips was only one stroke behind Smith. Phillips had his best round of the year, leading the team in the front nine only two over par. 

Payton Hildebrand led the team with three birdies. Nash Hays and Macen Benderman also contributed to the team. Bethany finished with a score of 334.

Preston Lindsay traveled with Bethany to compete in the individual tournament that consisted of 102 golfers.

Bethany's next step will be the PAC Golf Championships. That tournament will be a two day event, with day one taking place on Monday, October 14th.
