Golf Finishes Top 10

GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Bison traveled to Grove City Country Club for their second event of the week. Bethany made a massive improvement from their first tournament of the spring, shooting a 330 in one round. 

The Bison totaled 330 between the four qualified scores. They finished top ten in the field, placing ninth.

Payton Hildebrand was the lowest scorer of the day. He shot a 79 throughout 18 holes. Hildebrand posted an albatross on hole seven, the Bison's first albatross of the spring season. Hildebrand finished top 24 among 80 entries. 

Jude Smith was the birdie leader for the squad, collecting three on the day. Smith shot an 81 today.

Lincoln Pablo, Sam Phillips, and Nash Hays were a part of the starting five. Troy Hixson and Cooper Poe competed individually. 

The Bison will have a full week plus a few until their next competition. They will travel to Thiel for another tournament Saturday, April 5th.
