Skobel Earns PAC Rookie of the Week Honors

Greenville, Pa – Bethany College women's basketball freshman guard Bella Skobel (Charleroi, Pa | Charleroi) was announced as Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the week for her performance this past week.

Skobel averaged 19.0 points, 4.5 rebounds. 3.5 steals, and 2.0 assists last week for the Bison. She shot 51.6 percent from the field.

In the win 61-56 win over Chatham, Skobel finished with 13 points, scoring 11 in the second half and shooting 60.0 percent (6-10) from the field. Skobel finished with a career-high 25 points in Wednesday's loss at Geneva.

Through five games (3 starts) this season, Skobel is averaging 8.4 points and shooting 45.7 percent from the field.

The Bison are scheduled to face Saint Vincent on Saturday, February 27, at 1 pm for the PAC Network Game of the Week.
