Bison women's track & field team competes at Kenyon

GAMBIER, Ohio (Feb. 17) - The Bethany College women's track & field team competed at the Kenyon Open Saturday afternoon in preparation for the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Championships.
In the field, junior Leighanna Frantz (East Liverpool, Ohio/East Liverpool) established a new personal-record in the long jump and finished sixth in with a mark of 4.39 meters. She also added an eighth place finish in High Jump after clearing 1.40 meters.
Sophomore Amanda Gower (Washington, Pa./Trinity) finished fourth in 400-meter run with a time of one minute, 3.92 and also added a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the tape at 27.93 seconds.
The entire Bethany women's indoor track and field team will be in competition at the annual PAC Championships on Thursday, February 22 in Youngstown, Ohio at the WATTS Training Facility.
