Women's track & field competes at Mount Union John Homan Invite

ALLIANCE, Ohio (April 7) - The Bethany College women's track & field team traveled to the University of Mount Union for its annual John Homon Invitational.

Sophomore Amanda Gower (Washington, Pa./Trinity) finished eighth in the long jump with a mark of 4.58 meters (15 feet, 0.5 inches).

Senior Elizabeth Timas (Middlefield, Ohio/Cardinal) finished 22nd overall out of 34 runners in the 800-meter run with a time of two minutes, 34.42 seconds. She also turned in a time of five minutes, 19.43 seconds to finish 34th overall out of 59 competitors.

Senior Ashley Borsch (Richmond, Ohio/Edison) crossed the tape at one minute, 3.53 seconds to finish 15th in the 400-meter dash.

Bethany is back on the track next Saturday, April 14 when they head to the Westminster Invitational in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
