DELAWARE, Ohio – The Bethany College women's volleyball team competed against Trine on Friday evening at the Bishop Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- Bethany and Trine battled in the first set but the Bison fell short, 25-22.
- In set two, the Bison kept the score close until the 13-10 mark where Trine capitalized to take a 18-10 lead. Trine took set two 25-17.
- Trine cruised to a 25-13 set three win.
INSIDE THE MATCH
- Destiny Goodnight and Riley Felton led the Bison with five kills apiece.
- Olivia Koehler led the Bison with seven digs, while Alaina Torres led the Bison with 17 assists.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Bison return to action on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11 am and 2 pm against Anderson and host Ohio Wesleyan.
