Volleyball: Bison Defeat Yellow Jackets, 3-1
WAYNESBURG, Pa. – The Bethany College women's volleyball team traveled to Waynesburg College for a non-conference tilt Saturday morning. The Bison defeated the Yellow Jackets, 3-1 (22-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-17).
THE HIGHLIGHTS
- After dropping the first set, the Bison bounced back to take the next three sets.
- Bethany and Waynesburg were neck-and-neck in the first half of set two, until a Bison went on a five point run to take a 17-11 lead. The Bison maintained the large lead to take set two, 22-14.
- In set three, the Bison were in full control, jumping out to an early 9-2 lead. The Bison took set three, 25-13.
- In set four, the Bison took an 11-2 lead. The Yellow Jackets cut the deficit to 14-9 but the Bison were able to string together points to take the set.

INSIDE THE MATCH
- Olivia Koehler led the Bison with 13 kills and added 13 digs.
- Sage Halbritter and Emma Marthins both had 12 kills apiece.
- Riley Felton led the Bison in blocks with three solo.
- Lynn Burton and Alaina Torres spit the assists with Burton with 20 and Torres with 19.
- Anna Taylor had 19 digs.
