Volleyball Falls in Three to Thiel

GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Bethany College volleyball team fell in straight sets (27-25, 25-12, 25-19) to Thiel Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.  

Junior Averie Braymer led the offensive attack with seven kills on 19 attempts with just three errors. She added four digs and a pair of blocks. Junior Adriana Gilliam added five kills on 15 attempts.  

Senior Talia Gallagher recorded 20 of the team's 24 assists, while senior Anna Taylor finished with 21 digs.  

INSIDE THE BOX AND NOTES 

• After recording 14 kills with three errors on 45 attempts in the opening set, the Bison combined for 12 kills with 14 errors on 68 attempts over the last two sets. 

• Tallagher has 14 matches this season with at least 20 assists. 

• Taylor has 15 matches, including eight consecutive, with at least 20 digs.  

• Braymer has eight straight matches with at least one block. 

Bethany (7-17 overall, 0-6 PAC) hosts Geneva 7 p.m. Wednesday.
