Bethany places 55 on Presidents' Athletic Conference Honor Roll
TRAFFORD, Pa. – Bethany College featured 55 student-athletes on the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Fall 2022 Academic Honor Roll announced by the league office Friday afternoon.
Leading the way for the Bison with 15 student-athletes was men's soccer, followed by women's volleyball (14), football (11), women's soccer, (9) and cross-country (6).
823 student-athletes were named to the PAC Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2022 semester.
The PAC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes on varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition.
Washington & Jefferson College led the 11 full-time league schools with 89 student-athletes earning PAC Fall 2022 Academic Honor Roll distinction. Tied for second on the list was Allegheny College and Grove City College with 84 each, while Westminster College had 72 on the honor roll. Geneva College was next with 61 and was followed by Waynesburg University (60), Thiel College (58), Saint Vincent (57), Bethany College (55), Franciscan (51) and Chatham University (46).
The PAC's two football affiliate members, Carnegie Mellon University and Case Western Reserve University, totaled 57 and 50, respectively.
