Men's Lacrosse: Bison win streak extends to five in win over Ravens; Funari breaks caused turnover record

ANDERSON, Ind. – After dropping their first two games of the season, the Bethany College men's lacrosse team has won their last five games. Bethany traveled to Anderson for a non-conference tilt. The Bison defeated the Ravens, 6-2. Junior Christian Funari set the all-time career caused turnovers record after causing five turnovers. He has 76 career caused turnovers thus far.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Bethany held an early 2-0 lead after one quarter. Maurice Plummer and Clay Yingling both found the back of the net to give the Bison the early lead.
  • In the second, the Bison and Ravens each scored a goal with the Green and White taking a 3-1 lead into the halftime break.
  • The Bison outscored the Ravens 3-1 in the second half with Raymond Rogers scoring two goals and Jackson Barnett adding one.
