MEADVILLE, Pa. – Senior goalie Andrew Smith eclipsed the 1,000 career saves mark against Allegheny College at Fuhrer Field, Wednesday evening. Smith currently has 1,004 career saves in a Bison uniform and is fifth all-time on the NCAA Division III records list. The Gators defeated the Bison 19-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Clay Yingling found the back of the net first with 11:39 to go in the first quarter. The Bison lead didn't last long as the Gators quickly responded a minute later. The Gators added two more goals to take a 3-1 lead after one.
- Allegheny continued their momentum in the second scoring the first three goals to extend their lead to 6-1. The Bison would answer back, scoring the next three goals, off the sticks of Clay Yingling who earned a hat-trick and Maurice Plummer. The Gators would respond to take an 8-4 lead heading into the break.
- The Gators momentum did not slow as they scored eight goals in the third and three in the fourth to hold a commanding lead over the Bison.

- Clay Yingling led the Bison with four goals.
- Maurice Plummer had two goals and one assist.

- Allegheny held the shot advantage, 56-14 over Bethany.
