Men's Lacrosse: Bison fall to Titans on Senior Day

BETHANY, W.Va. – The Bethany College men's lacrosse team hosted Westminster College in a PAC contest inside Bison Stadium Saturday afternoon. Prior to the match, the Bison celebrated their four seniors. The Titans would spoil the Bison senior day by taking a 19-6 win.

Final Score: Westminster 19, Bethany 6

Records: Westminster (8-6, 4-2 PAC), Bethany (5-8, 0-6 PAC)

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Westminster offense scored three goals in the first period to take a 3-0 lead.
  • Bethany found the back of the net on a Raymond Rogers goal in the second quarter with 10:15 to go in the first half. The Titans added three straight goals to build their lead to 6-1. Maurice Plummer scored his first of three goals with under three minutes remaining in the first half. Bethany trailed 6-2 at the half.
  • Westminster outscored Bethany, 7-2 in the third quarter and 6-2 in the final quarter of play.
