Men’s Soccer falls 4-0 at Penn State-Behrend

Oct. 5 - ERIE, PA. - The Bethany men's soccer team dropped their final non-conference match off the season 4-0 to Penn State-Behrend. 

The hosts jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 12th minute when they scored on a one-timer.

Jay O'Donnell (Cardiff, Wales/Radyr Comprehensive) tallied Bethany's only shot of the first half 10 minutes later, but the Lions' net minder gathered the save. Behrend would add two more goals before halftime to take the 3-0 lead.

In the second half, the Bison got some more pressure offensively but were unable to find the back of the net.

The hosts would add another goal in the 74th minute to close out the scoring for the evening. 

With the loss, the Bison fall to 5-5-2 (1-0, PAC). They return to action on Saturday, Oct. 8 when they host Grove City at 3:30 p.m. for Homecoming.
