Waters, Sallah-Mohammed honored by PAC

Oct. 17 - GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) has named Jack Waters(Epsom, United Kingdom/Glyn School) and Baboucar Sallah-Mohammed (Arlington, Va. / Fishburne Military) Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for their performances in wins over Saint Vincent and Washington and Jefferson last week.

This is the second time this season that Waters has garnered player of the week honors within the conference. 

Last Wednesday against Saint Vincent, the senior tallied the first two goals for the Bison in a 5-1 victory before recording two assists in a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory at Washington and Jefferson on Saturday.

Waters currently ranks first in the PAC with 10 assists which places him seventh nationally and is also tied for the PAC lead in total points (24).

Sallah-Mohammed continued his strong play from the previous week with impressive play in Bethany's two matches last week. Against Saint Vincent, he netted his first goal just seven minutes into the second half before capping off the scoring output in the 5-1 victory with another goal in the 63rd minute.

The Bison trailed 2-1 from the 39th minute until 89th minute at W&J, when Sallah tied the game at two to force overtime. Bethany went on to win 3-2 in the first minute of the extra session.

He is tied for 10th in the PAC with five goals this season, including four markers in the last three games. 

The Bison enter a crucial part of their schedule sitting at fourth in the conference standings with a 7-6-2 (3-1 PAC) record and four games remaining. Bethany hosts league-leading Geneva (10-3-1, 4-0 PAC) on Tuesday, October 18 at 3:30 p.m. and Westminster (5-5-4, 2-1-2 PAC) on Saturday, October 22 at 3 p.m.
