Softball: Wise earns PAC Pitcher of the Week honors

BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College pitcher Josie Wise earned Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Pitcher of the Week honors for her performance during week two of the 2024 season.

The senior pitcher earned four of Bethany's five wins last week. She pitched 23.0 innings with 26 strikeouts with an ERA of 1.83. In the 5-4 win over Penn State-Altoona, she had 10 strikeouts. In the 5-1 win against Altoona, she pitched 6.0 innings, allowing three hits, struck out five and gave up zero runs.

The weekly laurel is her first of the season.

The Bison are back in action on Tuesday, Mar. 12 at Bison Field against Penn State Beaver at 3 pm.
