WLAX: Carter, Severe Combine for Five Goals

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Bethany College women's lacrosse team fell to Wittenberg Wednesday, 17-7, in non-conference action.  

Sophomore Tatum Severe led the team with three goals, while junior Jada Carter added two goals. Junior Emily Wenger had Bethany's lone assist to go along with a goal as senior Karley Trinidad capped the BC scoring. 

After scoring one goal in each of the first three periods, Bethany scored four goals in the fourth period.  

The Bethany goalkeeping trio of Leah Crihfeld, Madison Wagoner, and Kyleigh Craig recorded seven saves on 24 shots. Craig was the most effective, making three saves on four shots.  

Bethany (1-6) opens Presidents' Athletic Conference action 6:30 p.m. Saturday, hosting Chatham.
