WLAX: Second Straight Win for Bison

LATROBE, Pa. - The Bethany College women's lacrosse team scored the first five goals of the game en route to the 13-6 win over Saint Vincent Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference action.  

In her second game back from an injury, senior Abbie Carpenter was the offensive catalyst with a team-high five goals and one assist. After bookending the second quarter scoring, she added a goal in the third period and two more in the fourth.  

Junior Janez Matthews tallied three goals for the second straight game and sophomore Tatum Severe finished with two goals.  

Senior Leah Crihfield finished with eight saves on 14 shots.  

Bethany (3-9 overall, 2-2 PAC) hosts Franciscan 4 p.m. Wednesday.
