HOAG FIELD- The Bethany Bison hosted their last home game of the season. Bethany played strong defense keeping it scoreless for most of the game, but was unable to stifle Westminster for a full 90 minutes. The Bison ended up allowing two goals late (84th and 86th minute) to fall to the Titans 2-0.
The first half was a pure defensive struggle. There were three shots on goal, all coming from the Bison. The closest opportunity came from Brionna Bash, who snuck the ball by the goalie towards the bottom right portion of the goal. However, there was a Titan that swept in and saved the almost-Bison goal.
The offense wasn't meshing well for Bethany all game, but certainly struggled in the second half. They were only able to create one shot throughout the entire 45 minutes of play. Bethany couldn't create any counter attacks to put the Titans on their heels.
Bethany (7-6-3) will try to end the regular season on a high note against Thiel (3-14). The Bison will travel to the Tomcats Tuesday for a 5 p.m. start.
