Kibler Named Interim Head Coach
Bethany College Director of Athletics Brian Sansom has announced Cody Kibler as the Interim Head Women's Soccer coach for the upcoming season.
Kibler joined the Bethany coaching staff last season after serving as an assistant coach at Mariner High School, where he oversaw the junior varsity team for seven seasons. He was also responsible for goalkeeper training, strength and conditioning, and team scouting reports.
"We are thrilled to have Cody take the helm as our interim head coach this fall," said Sansom. "He knows his way around the program, and I am confident that he will continue to build a formative culture, while developing student-athletes on and off of the field. He has a strong connection with our current student-athletes, and he's eager to help our program take the next steps."
Kibler also spent time as a club soccer coach at Mid-City Lions Futbol Club. With Mid-City Lions, he was able to be privileged enough to coach a multitude of collegiate talent varying from the Division I level to Division III
He is a 2015 graduate of the University of Florida, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology.
Bethany begins the 2024 season 1 p.m. September 1, hosting Penn State-Altoona.
