HOW IT HAPPENED
- The match was scoreless after the first half, with a Franciscan shot off of the post being the only real scoring chance of the opening period.

- Franciscan added a second marker in 79th-minute off of another rebound; this time a shot that ricocheted off of the crossbar and to the foot of a Baron player
- Bethany found the back of the net in the 83rd-minute when a freshman Riley Meyers (Dubois, Pa./Dubois Central Catholic) netted her first-career goal. Meyers headed-in a free-kick by classmate Gabby Capaldi (Steubenville, Ohio/Catholic Central) to slice the deficit in half.
