HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bethany had its best opportunity to score in the first half in the 24th-minute, when senior Ashley Borsch (Richmond, Ohio/Edison) rang a shot off of the crossbar that was inches from giving the Bison the lead.
- The match remained in a scoreless tie heading into halftime, despite a 13-to-2 advantage in shots by Chatham. Freshman goalkeeper Maria Concha Vazquez (Queretaro, Mexico/Thomas Jefferson) was up to the task, making 10 saves in the first half alone.
